2. By the Light of the Prophetic Word
vv.19-21

19 ¹And we have the ^aprophetic word made more ^bfirm, to which you do well to give heed as to a ^2clamp shining in a ³dark place, until the ^4dday dawns and the ^emorning star rises in your hearts;

20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of ^aScripture is of ¹one's own ²interpretation;

21 ¹For no prophecy was ever ²borne by the will of man, but men spoke from God while being ²borne by the Holy ^aSpirit.
