Search Tips:

1. "with all of the words"

Each results must contain all the input words. The words can also end with asterisk (*).

Restriction: It can not be used together with textbox 5.

Example:
("Lord Jesus Chri*")
Acts 2:36

36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made Him both 1aLord and bChrist, this Jesus whom 2you have ccrucified.

2. "with at least one of the words"

Each results contain at least one of the input words. The words can end with asterisk (*).

Restriction: It can not be used together with textbox 5.

Example:

3. "without the words"

Each results must not contain the words. The words can end with asterisk (*).

Restriction: It must be used together with 1, or 2, or 4, and not with 5, 7, or 9.

Example:
("bapti*" with "Lord Jesus Christ" in 2)

Time of Writing:  Approximately A.D. 37-40, shortly after the Lord's resurrection (28:15) and prior to the destruction of the temple (24:2).

4. "with the exact phrase"

Each results must exactly contain the input phrase.

Restriction: It can not be used together with 5, 7, or 9.

Example:
("Lord Jesus Christ")
Acts 11:17

17 If therefore God has given to them the equal agift bas also to us who have believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, cwho was I that I could have forbidden God?

5. "with the words in order"

Each results must contains all the input words with exactly the same sequence.

Restriction: It allows not more than three words to be searched in verse or footnote only, and not work with 1~4 or 7~9 either.

Example:
("God Lord")
Matthew 16:22

22 And Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, God be merciful to You, Lord! This shall by 1no means happen to You!

7. "Case sensitive:"

If "on" were selected, the results must match the case of the first character of each input words; if "off" were selected (default), the result may or may not match the case.

Restriction: The case sensitive search can be used in 1 or 2 with not more than three words in each textbox, and within  "verse" only. It can not be used with textbox 3~5 and function 8~9.

Example:
("spirit Spirit" in 1, case sensitive is "on")
John 3:6

6 That which is aborn 1of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born 1of the 2Spirit is 2spirit.

8. "Stemming words:"

The words with the same root are called "stemming words". Example: "baptize", "baptized", "baptizing", and "baptizes" ;are the stemming words of "baptize". If "on" were selected here, results containning any stemming words of the input words will be returned; if "off" were selected (default), only the results that exactly match the input words will be returned.

Restriction: This function can not be used together with textbox 5 and function 7 and 9.

Example:
("baptize" in 1, stemming words is "on")
Matthew 3:6

6 And they were 1abaptized by him in the 2bJordan River as they cconfessed their sins.

9. "Words contain:"

Results with specified footnotes or crossreferences information will be returned. 

Restriction: It works in 1 and 2 with not more than three words in each textbox, and only within "verse". It can not be used together with textbox 3~5 and function 7~8.

Example:
("God" in 1, select "footnotes and crossreference")
John 1:1

10. "From:"

Specify the first book to begin the search.

11. "To:"

Specify the last book to end the search.

12. "Results per page:"

Specify how many result sets will be displayed in one page.

13. "Search in:"

Specify the field of searching: within "verses" or "footnotes" or "outlines" or "all" of them.
